Team Flatlanders is expecting a wide variety of press coverage and exposure due to the extraordinary and philanthropic nature of this event. We would like to share these valuable advertising opportunities and help develop at positive image for your company in exchange for sponsorship support.
What sponsorship will get you:
Residents of Lawrence, KS and surrounding communities will be the principle targets of advertisement and publicity created by Team Flatlanders. Promotional flyers, fund-raising kiosks, and regional press coverage will all be utilized to both raise charity funds and spread the word about the Team's sponsors. At the University of Kansas, the Daily Kansan will be running articles about Team Flatlanders, and team members will set up on-campus kiosks displaying sponsor logos on campus throughout the spring semester while raising charity money. Regional newspapers will also be involved in producing exposure for Team Flatlanders and its sponsors. Moreover, flyers and fund-raising kiosks will be in place throughout downtown Lawrence during the months leading up to the Rally. These will be great opportunities to spread the word about your company.
Sponsors can also expect professional and appealing advertisements run throughout this website. We're expecting a significant amount of traffic here, so any advertisement will certainly get quite a bit of attention.
Finally, to maximize the amount of exposure sponsors can receive, Team Flatlanders will be selling T-shirts (with sponsor logos) in Lawrence, KS and on our website. On top of that, sponsors' logos or ads can be placed both on the rally vehicle and on the Team's uniforms during the race. This will both give an international component to sponsors' publicity, as well as provide the opportunity for sponsors logos to be seen in any photographs of the team and vehicle placed either in articles run by newspapers or on our website. Enclosed with this proposal is a diagram and list of sponsorship packages that can be purchased.
